Nagoshi Studio's Official Website Goes Dark, Future Becomes Even More Uncertain

Nagoshi Studio, founded in 2022 by former SEGA Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio director Toshihiro Nagoshi, unveiled its new title, GANG OF DRAGON, at The Game Awards 2025 late last year. The game generated buzz with Korean actor Ma Dong-seok starring as the protagonist.

Previously, the studio faced issues with its official YouTube channel being deleted, and a Bloomberg report claiming investor NetEase had ceased funding, plunging the studio into crisis. Now, even its official website is inaccessible. Attempts to access the site result in a "DNS_PROBE_FINISHED_NXDOMAIN" error message, further clouding the studio's current status.

The website's failure was first reported by X user HazzadorGamin, Dragon of Dojima, leaving many netizens wondering what's happening with the studio and shrouding everything in mystery.

Furthermore, Nagoshi Studio's various social media accounts have been inactive since February this year. Its official YouTube channel was even deleted recently. With the official website now inaccessible, external concerns about the studio's future are mounting.

If previous reports are accurate, the studio might be seeking new investors; alternatively, the entire project, or even the studio itself, could be facing a survival crisis.

While the studio has yet to officially comment on the situation, external observations certainly paint a very uncertain picture for Nagoshi Studio's future.

Note: Financial figures and earnings forecasts should be confirmed through the company’s official announcements.
