Chiikawa Creator NAGANO Snags McDonald's Happy Meal Toys, Fans Go Wild for Epic Combo!

McDonald's Japan just dropped its latest Happy Meal collab today (May 15), featuring Chiikawa & McDonald's Robots, and fans are absolutely losing it! This marks Chiikawa's first Happy Meal appearance in a year, bringing a fresh batch of goodies.

And who else but Chiikawa creator NAGANO Sensei himself jumped on the hype train? On release day, he hit up Instagram with a hand-drawn illustration, revealing he snagged both the super-talked-about "Transform! McDonald's Robots" and "Chiikawa" Happy Meal toys. His clever combo play instantly won over fans!

In NAGANO Sensei's latest post, you can spot Hachiware dressed as a delivery rider, perched atop the "Deliverion" delivery bike robot. The caption? "Got the transforming robot..."

Next to the illustration of Kumasan, representing NAGANO Sensei himself, a handwritten note adds: "Sticking on the robot stickers was super tough..."

The post blew up, with fans flooding the comments: "Combining both toys is pure genius!!" "So Sensei got both?! Never thought they'd go together like that!" "Hachiware playing with the robot is just too cute!"

Both of these goodies are part of the first wave. Since the Chiikawa series features 3D pencil toppers, it's actually possible to get them to sit on the robots – a combo play that makes you want to grab both sets even more!

It's clear that McDonald's Japan Happy Meals are just non-stop hits, irresistible to kids and adults alike – even NAGANO Sensei himself rushed to get his hands on them! If you're looking to snag these, you might need to find your own way to get them, but trust us, playing with both together is way more fun!
