Fans Create Ado and Her "Cage Home" in Tomodachi Life: Ado Responds, "Don't Treat Me Like a Beetle..."

Nintendo's latest entry in the "Tomodachi Collection" series, Tomodachi Life: Welcome to the Dream Life, dropped on April 16th, marking the franchise's return after a 13-year hiatus. With its high degree of freedom in character creation and interaction, even the demo had players crafting all sorts of anime characters and even real-life personalities, showcasing the game's hilarious potential.

Recently on X (formerly Twitter), an Ado fan created a character in the game: a pitch-black, long-haired girl, symbolizing Ado's mysterious persona. Even better, they went all out and built a cage, naming it "Ado's Home" to mirror Ado's signature concert style. This creative move earned massive praise from netizens, and even Ado herself took notice!

The fan initially teased their creation as a "superstar artist" before revealing the "Ado's Home" building, which clearly looked like a cage. They even threw in the #Ado hashtag, showing they perfectly captured Ado's vibe: dark, faceless, and performing from inside a cage, just like her concerts.

Fans familiar with Ado know this is her usual setup. To keep her identity a secret, she almost always performs live from within a cage, with audiences only seeing her silhouette. Of course, Ado still rocks the stage with her singing and dancing, and the atmosphere never suffers because of it.

The ingenious creation blew netizens away, with many joking that Ado performs in a cage because it's just as comfy as home!

Unsurprisingly, Ado, who's known for her frequent social media checks, caught wind of it. She retweeted the post, adding, "Don't treat me like a beetle..." And honestly, now that she mentions it, the resemblance is uncanny!

Her comment only fueled the fans' amusement, with one netizen quipping, "Beetles would say, 'Don't treat me like Ado!'" Looks like Ado's future performances might just be riddled with beetle jokes!

Interestingly, Ado's stage setup evolved from a "box" to a "cage" in the past. She herself explained the practical reason: cages are "cooler." Performing on stage can get pretty hot, so the cage provides a much more comfortable environment.

But after this whole ordeal, it seems Ado better brace herself for being compared to a beetle from now on!
