This epic collaboration isn't just dropping a new, impactful ice cream flavor that perfectly captures the Dragon Quest world. It's also bringing exclusive sundaes, ice cream cakes, and even a take-home set that includes a special "Popping Candy Slime" charm!
And get this – the fun extends into the game itself! "Dragon Quest X Online" will also feature in-game collaboration items, ensuring both DQ fanatics and Baskin Robbins lovers have a blast.
Dragon Quest Collaboration Product Lineup
▼ June Limited-Time New Flavor: "Critical Hit! - Golden Pineapple Lemon Soda -"
This flavor is inspired by the super-damaging "Critical Hit" you unleash in Dragon Quest battles, making for an absolutely explosive taste experience! It features a refreshing, sweet-and-sour blue lemon soda sorbet paired with a juicy, sweet golden pineapple sorbet. Plus, for the first time ever, Baskin Robbins is adding "Popping Soda Candy" for a dual "pop" and "fizz" sensation, all finished with a zesty, slightly spicy lemon sauce.
The official word is that this flavor packs a noticeable kick, so kids or those sensitive to strong flavors might want to proceed with caution.
▼ "Slimes Appear! Battle Sundae"
Dragon Quest's iconic Slime monsters are now adorable sundaes! Pick your favorite ice cream, top it with whipped cream and colorful sprinkles, then add a Slime chocolate and a monster pick to complete your creation. The original cup design even hides a Dragon Quest map and a secret "31" logo – DQ fans will love spotting all the details.
There are 10 types of monster picks, given out randomly, so you never know which monster you'll encounter, just like a real battle in the game!
▼ "Dragon Quest 40th Set" Price: Regular Size: 3560 JPY / Small Size: 3000 JPY
Get ready for a surprise when you open this original design! This 40th-anniversary set lets you choose 8 scoops of ice cream to take home.
The outer box, adorned with Dragon Quest monsters, transforms into an "Ice Cream Mimic" when opened, just like the classic "Mimic" monster from the game! It's super thematic and makes for a fantastic gift or souvenir.
It also comes with an exclusive "Popping Candy Slime" charm, a fusion of the popular "Popping Candy" flavor and a Slime. This charm is only available through this collaboration, making it a super rare collector's item.
▼ "Slimes Appear! Ice Cream Cake" Price: 4300 JPY
This ice cream cake is themed around "Slime Island," completely immersing you in the DQ world. The base is designed like an ocean and cliffs, with the cake itself and a transparent sheet recreating the island's look. Sugar Slimes and Slime Bass adorn the cake, looking just like the in-game message, "It seems to want to be your friend, and is looking at you." So cute!
It also includes a Slime pick, a dialogue box-style chocolate plate, and a white chocolate pen so you can write your own message and decorate it. Even cooler, after you've devoured the cake, a "Metal King" easter egg appears on the base, keeping the adventure going until the very last bite!
Flavor-wise, the top layer is Popping Candy, while the bottom features a three-layer combo of caramel sauce, strawberry, and chocolate – a treat for both kids and adults. This is a No. 5 size ice cream cake, approximately 16 cm in diameter and 5 cm in height, perfect for sharing among 4 to 6 people.
But wait, there's more! There's also a Dragon Quest collaboration limited-time gift campaign. From June 1st to 3rd only, the first 200,000 customers will receive a collaboration commemorative sticker! During this period, any single purchase of 500 JPY (tax included) or more will get you this exclusive sticker. It features Slime and Popping Candy Slime in a design unique to this collaboration.
