The episode's main plot revolves around Anna and her friends helping prepare for glass artist Misako Shindo's exhibition at the Hosho Museum. The star attraction? A pair of glass slippers called "The Midnight Relic." But during transport, the box containing the masterpiece suddenly burst open, scattering countless glass slippers and causing a commotion. Turns out, all those flying shoes were fakes, and the real "Midnight Relic" vanished amidst the chaos.
Anna and Kobayashi immediately suspected the Phantom Thief Gang and began their investigation. That's when they ran into none other than Conan Edogawa, Ran Mouri, and Kogoro Mouri, who just happened to be visiting Makoto Mirai City.
▼ Even Kobayashi was in on the "Sleeping Kogoro" gag!

This episode even featured Conan's iconic black silhouette criminal during the investigation – talk about dedication from the production team!

One of the most talked-about moments from this collaboration was the classic "Detective Conan" door-opening animation during the transition, but this time, it was the "Detective Pretty Cure!" detective agency!
As for "Sleeping Anna," it happened when Conan's tranquilizer dart, originally aimed at Kogoro Mouri, accidentally hit Anna instead. They just rolled with it!

What truly blew netizens away was Ran Mouri's karate prowess after the truth was revealed. Already a powerhouse in the Conan universe, she was just as formidable in the Precure world. Facing off against Nijii, a transformed member of the Phantom Thief Gang, Ran effortlessly took down her opponent bare-handed. Fans joked, "She's top-tier without even needing to transform!"

Even Conan got in on the action, showing off his signature soccer kick against Nijii. Poor Nijii didn't stand a chance!

And finally, even the Angel duo joined in with their own soccer kicks to take down the culprit!

This collaboration was a huge hit with Japanese audiences, especially for its clever gags and sheer fun factor. It's clear the Precure production team poured their hearts into this crossover!

Whether you're a fan of "Detective Pretty Cure!" or "Detective Conan," this special crossover episode is definitely a must-watch for some serious fun.
Don't miss the next crossover episode airing on June 6 in "Detective Conan," featuring a guest appearance by Anna Akechi / Cure Labyrinth!
