Talk about dinner goals! When this appetizer hits the table, you’d probably hesitate to even touch your chopsticks. A Japanese X user recently came home from work to find his wife had meticulously summoned Shenron using cucumbers for their evening snack. The photos quickly went viral on X, sparking a wave of reactions.
Japanese X user "酒畜ハレム(@harem1031)" posted about his epic homecoming, where his wife had apparently conjured the legendary dragon. Shenron's coiled body was crafted from thinly sliced cucumbers, with sesame seeds for eyes and even cucumber slices forming its majestic horns. It's clear his wife poured a ton of effort and delicate skill into this culinary masterpiece.
But the cucumber Shenron wasn't the only star of the show; the plate itself was a total showstopper. It featured a speech bubble proclaiming, "A delicious appetizer has appeared! At this rate, there won't be enough booze!" And in the bottom right corner, a command menu with "Drink," "Eat," and "Pour Wine" options, making the whole setup look exactly like a battle screen from a classic RPG.

This incredibly playful plate comes from Japanese sake ware brand "Koyoido". The ingenious use of their product even caught the brand's attention, prompting them to comment on the post: "This is truly a formidable foe! Let's get another plate to defeat it~" They also thanked the user's wife for showcasing such a fun side of their tableware.
The post naturally led to a flurry of inquiries from netizens asking where they could snag one of these plates. Some even jokingly suggested scattering "seven salmon roe" around the plate next time, hinting that it might truly summon Shenron and grant wishes.

Koyoido is no stranger to clever designs, having previously released a range of witty creations. Their "Handsome Guy Plate," featuring dashing men that bring a smile to your face, the "Speech Bubble Plate" that literally puts manga dialogue on your dish, and the "GAME Plate," inspired by retro RPG game screens, all perfectly embody the brand's humorous and refined artistic flair.

These ingenious plates really add a unique twist to any meal, transforming a simple drink into an interactive, playful experience. Honestly, they're so cool, you might not even want to eat the food!
