Atlus's beloved RPG series, Persona, is hitting its 30th anniversary this year, and fans have been eagerly awaiting the next big entry. After all, who doesn't love diving into another epic journey with stylish teens and their inner demons?
Today (June 8) at the Xbox Games Showcase 2026, the long-awaited new title, Persona 6, was officially unveiled! A teaser trailer was dropped, confirming its launch on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox PC, PS5, and Steam. However, a release date has yet to be announced.
It's been a whopping decade since "Persona 5" first launched back in 2016! While we've had spin-offs, remakes, and other related games over the past ten years, a brand-new "Persona 6" has been the ultimate hype. Especially with the series' 30th anniversary this year, many fans were betting on some major news dropping soon.
However, the trailer revealed at the Xbox Games Showcase 2026 didn't show much actual gameplay. Beyond what appears to be a fresh "Persona 6" logo, it mostly focused on building a mysterious and eerie atmosphere for the game.
