To celebrate its 25th anniversary, Good Smile Company previously announced its all-new "Gattai God Series" project. The first entry in this series has been officially revealed as an original TV anime, Beast King Go-Dantevine, which is set to premiere this October.
On June 26, a teaser PV for the series was officially released. The anime is directed by So Takeshi, with series composition and scripts handled by the legendary Toshiki Inoue. The opening theme song will be performed by Takanori Nishikawa.
The new "Gattai God Series" is a project driven by MECHA SMILE, Good Smile Company's robot-centric brand. The initiative aims to reintroduce the classic appeal of "combining robots" to fans worldwide, creating a fresh visual experience with modern animation techniques.
GSC has stated that this isn't just a one-off project; the goal is to release new original anime and combining robot toys annually, establishing a brand-new mecha franchise. For its inaugural title, "Beast King Go-Dantevine," Good Smile Company is collaborating with Aniplex, Takara Tomy, and Toei.

The story is set 20 years after the legendary combining robot, Go-Dantevine, defeated a mysterious enemy known as the "Apostle." Peace has returned to the world, but the toy company Casga, which once dominated the market with its best-selling Go-Dantevine toys, is now facing a steep decline after relying too heavily on the IP.
Just as things look bleak, the intense desire of Casga's president, Shijima Genjuro—who wishes for Go-Dantevine's return "even if it means shattering the peace"—seems to reach the heavens. One day, the former enemy, the Apostle, suddenly reappears in Tokyo. The populace, having enjoyed two decades of peace, is thrown into chaos as the city descends into panic.
As people flee for their lives, high school student Shijima Gekijin is guided by his uncle, Kuroiwa Yusaku, the original main pilot of Go-Dantevine, to once again board the legendary mecha. What is the goal of this new Apostle threat? Can Casga use this crisis to reclaim its throne in the toy industry? Gekijin is about to be thrown into the heart of a brand-new battle.
The show's core concept is "A swordsman combines with legendary divine beasts!" It aims to fuse the hot-blooded spirit of classic robot anime with modern animation to create a new super robot masterpiece.
The newly released PV offers the first glimpse of Go-Dantevine and the main characters in animated form. It also features the series' score for the first time, giving viewers an early taste of the show's powerful and epic world.

The opening theme will be performed by popular artist Takanori Nishikawa. He commented:
"I'm from the generation that grew up watching robot anime, and I want to help bring this genre, which Japan is so proud of, back to the world stage. I poured that feeling into this song. Please look forward to 'Beast King Go-Dantevine' and the new track."
One of the most unique features of this series is its blend of a classic "robot saves the world" setup with a meta, commercially-driven plot about a toy company trying to engineer a comeback and reclaim market dominance.
