Veteran manga artist Masanori Morita, known for classics like "Rokudenashi BLUES" and "Rookies," recently dropped a bombshell on his X account. He shared details of a legendary dinner party hosted by none other than "One Piece" creator Eiichiro Oda, complete with a guest list that would make any manga fan swoon.
The post instantly sent shockwaves through the internet, with fans collectively losing their minds over the "insanely luxurious" lineup of manga artists. It became an overnight sensation!
Morita's post read:
"Yesterday, I finally fulfilled a promise made a year ago, enjoying a dream-like feast led by Oda! Every single dish was something I'd never tasted before. My vocabulary is too limited to even begin describing the deliciousness...! Seriously, everything was super tasty! Huge thanks! After dinner, I sketched the crew – all radiating incredible aura – as they were heading for taxis."
Morita even included a hand-drawn illustration in his post, depicting the manga artists who attended the dinner.
The artists in the illustration, from left to right, are:
Masashi Kishimoto ("Naruto")
Eiichiro Oda ("One Piece")
Hiroyuki Takei ("Shaman King")
Takehiko Inoue ("Slam Dunk" & "Vagabond")
Masakazu Katsura ("I"s")
Riichiro Inagaki ("Dr. Stone")
Gege Akutami ("Jujutsu Kaisen")
Kohei Horikoshi ("My Hero Academia")
Masanori Morita ("Rokudenashi BLUES" & "Rookies")
This isn't just any group; these are the masterminds behind some of the most iconic and beloved manga series ever, truly a dream team representing the pinnacle of the Japanese manga industry.

The internet exploded with awe and excitement over this fantastical gathering. Fans flooded the comments: "It's so heartwarming to see these Jump legends getting along so well!" "This is literally the manga world's All-Star team!" "These are the folks who made countless boys and girls worldwide feel hyped and emotional while reading manga…" "It's so stacked, you could call it the Avengers of the manga world!"

Some netizens even matched the artists with their representative characters, showcasing the sheer power of this lineup!

Of course, some fans couldn't help but feel a pang of sadness, noting that the late Akira Toriyama would have been a perfect fit for such an epic gathering. A truly missed presence.

It just goes to show that even these titans of the manga world are just regular folks who enjoy good company and great food, bridging generations and showing a different side of the industry.
