Celebrating its 30th anniversary this year, the iconic Pokémon franchise has just announced its first-ever collaboration with instant camera brand Polaroid, launching a line of limited-edition instant cameras and accessories themed after Pikachu, Sylveon, and the Poké Ball. Pre-orders are set to kick off on August 26, 2026, through the official Polaroid Japan store and other retailers.
To celebrate Pokémon's 30th anniversary, this special project with instant photography pioneer Polaroid is rolling out as one of the biggest collaborations in the brand's history.
The collection features a total of nine limited-edition items, including three specially designed cameras and film packs with exclusive darkslide art.
The collection is built around the Polaroid Go Generation 3, the world's smallest analog instant camera, which gets two special designs: one for Pikachu and one for Sylveon. This compact camera is a breeze to carry anywhere, making it perfect for travel, parties, and everyday adventures. It also packs a punch with features like a selfie mirror and a powerful flash, scoring high on both portability and practicality.
