GTA 6 Gameplay, Full Map Allegedly Leaked; Hackers Threaten Rockstar Over Digital-Only Push

"Grand Theft Auto VI" (GTA 6) is reportedly facing another major leak, with two alleged gameplay videos and a purported full map image recently surfacing online. The videos reportedly show protagonist Jason playing basketball outside a house and attacking NPCs after driving. However, the source, version date, and authenticity of these materials have not yet been confirmed by Rockstar Games or its parent company, Take-Two.

The leaked content is reportedly linked to a group named CyberLeek, whose associated website simultaneously lists three demands targeting Rockstar and other game publishers. These demands specifically address the gaming industry's shift towards full digitalization, including issues like digital pre-orders, "fake" single-player DLC, and the removal of paid single-player content. The manifesto also criticizes "GTA 6" for lacking a physical disc version and references the "Stop Killing Games" consumer movement ignited by Ubisoft's "The Crew" server shutdown.

In its manifesto, CyberLeek issued a final warning: "Publishers should be careful. If CyberLeek can get to Rockstar, then no one is safe. This is a message to all major corporations: play by the rules, or you're next."

Rockstar and Take-Two have reportedly begun removing the related videos from social media platforms. The meme coin promoted within the leaked materials has also drawn attention, with external concerns about potential cryptocurrency scams.

If the leak proves authentic, its timing is notably close to the anticipated reveal of "Grand Theft Auto 6: An Extended Look". This special preview is scheduled to air exclusively on Netflix for six hours on August 27, 2026, before becoming available on platforms like YouTube.
