Takanori Nishikawa, who famously belted out his classic hit "HOT LIMIT" in his iconic bandage outfit on YouTube's "THE FIRST TAKE" in July, has been absolutely everywhere since. From TV appearances to a flood of endorsement deals, the 55-year-old "Guru" is proving his charisma is timeless.
KFC Japan recently tapped Takanori Nishikawa to star in a commercial for their soon-to-be-released "Bursting Moon-Viewing Burger," where he hypes it up with his famously powerful vocals. At the product launch event, Nishikawa hilariously confessed that he's been getting endless requests to "strip, strip, strip" for his gigs. He's been forced to keep his body in peak condition for about eight months straight now!

To highlight the new burger's seriously upgraded "eggy" flavor, KFC brought in Takanori Nishikawa, who proudly calls himself an "egg enthusiast," to be the ambassador for their Moon-Viewing series. He even pulled a "T.M.Revolution" and transformed into "T.M.G. (Tamago, which means egg) Revolution" for the occasion.
Nishikawa also shared a fun fact: he often takes the Shinkansen from Shinagawa to Shin-Osaka, and thanks to an amazing boiled egg shop at Shinagawa Station, he's been known to "devour eight eggs in a single trip!" Talk about dedication to his "egg enthusiast" title.

Chatting about his physique, he chuckled, "I'm pretty much in this shape all year, so I don't really do any special body management." But he did let slip that he's been getting a surprising number of requests to "strip down" lately. So, he "sets personal deadlines based on filming schedules and tweaks his diet his own way."
"But seriously, it's been one job after another, and they just keep saying, 'Strip for me! Strip for me!' So yeah, I've been stuck in this physique for about eight months now," he quipped. Nishikawa then laughed and declared, "Today, I'm finally going to eat my fill!" When the much-anticipated tasting moment arrived, he took a massive bite of the burger, clearly savoring every moment, and roared, "How could something this good NOT be delicious?! Ahh, so tasty!" Looks like he's a very enthusiastic endorser, LOL.

While Nishikawa is currently just the ambassador for a limited-time product, he's clearly got his eyes on a much bigger prize: a long-term partnership. He declared, "I'm really hoping this gig leads to a contract for next year. I don't want this to be a one-and-done deal; I want to be with KFC through spring, summer, autumn, and winter, and become the face of the brand!"
It looks like Nishikawa is already fiercely eyeing that "annual contract," so we might just see him as KFC Japan's long-term spokesperson!
