Insomniac Games has dropped a brand new trailer for its upcoming PS5 exclusive, "Marvel's Wolverine," giving fans their first look at several in-game suit options. Building on the beloved suit-swapping feature from the "Marvel's Spider-Man" series, this new title will allow players to embody Wolverine's various iconic looks from across his comic book history and original designs, making costume collection a major discussion point leading up to its release.
A total of five suits were showcased in the trailer, with three directly pulled from the comics: the "Age of Apocalypse," "New Leather," and "Incredible" outfits. The "Incredible" suit stands out as particularly iconic, being the exact costume Wolverine donned for his debut in "The Incredible Hulk" #180 – a significant nod for long-time comic book enthusiasts.
The remaining two suits, "Savage" and "Night Hunt," are original designs crafted exclusively for the game. The "Savage" outfit features Logan with striking deep red eyes, while the "Night Hunt" suit reimagines the classic yellow costume with a blue hue, creating a more stealthy, nocturnal vibe.
However, all five of these newly revealed outfits will be exclusive to the Digital Deluxe Edition, which retails for $79.99, a $10 premium over the $69.99 Standard Edition. The Deluxe Edition further sweetens the deal with four PlayStation avatars, four skill points, and early unlock access to the "Classic Brown" suit.
While the full list remains under wraps, officials confirm that additional unlockable suits will be available in the game even for those who don't spring for the Deluxe Edition. "Marvel's Wolverine" is set to hit PS5 on September 15, 2026, with no current plans for a PC release, indicating a potential long-term console exclusivity.
