First announced at "The Game Awards 2025" late last year, CAPCOM has officially unveiled the latest entry in the beloved Mega Man series, "Mega Man: Dual Override" (ROCKMAN: Dual Override).
During the "Opening Night Live" broadcast at "Gamescom 2026" on August 26th, the first promotional video for "Mega Man: Dual Override" was revealed. The game is slated for a 2027 release across PS4, PS5, Xbox, Nintendo Switch 2, Nintendo Switch, and PC (Steam, Epic Games).
It was previously confirmed that this title serves as the 12th installment in the original series, following 2018's "Mega Man 11".
The newly released trailer showcases our familiar hero, Mega Man, blasting through stages with his Mega Buster and other weapons. The equally familiar Proto Man also makes an appearance. Additionally, a brand-new character, "Twinkle Girl," debuts, appearing to be a female boss character.
