Rockstar Games recently unveiled an "extended preview" for "GTA 6." Beyond showcasing a wealth of gameplay and world details, eagle-eyed players have now discovered that the video subtly incorporates environmental assets from "Red Dead Redemption 2."
The Easter egg appears within an in-game television commercial promoting an exaggerated burger boasting a whopping 30,000 calories. The ad's backdrop features a natural landscape with a river winding through trees, distinct rocky terrain along the banks, and numerous animals gathered in the scene.

However, players quickly realized this scenic view wasn't from "GTA 6's" Leonida state but was instead pulled directly from "Red Dead Redemption 2." Reddit user DangerousLeo subsequently pinpointed the exact location: a U-shaped bend in the Kamassa River, northwest of Annesburg and west of Deer Horn Cabin.

A side-by-side comparison reveals that while Rockstar adjusted the lighting for the commercial and added numerous animals, the river's course, trees, and most rock formations remain identical to their "Red Dead Redemption 2" counterparts. As for how DangerousLeo managed to identify the scene so quickly, he revealed he has accumulated over 730 hours in the game to date.
This discovery has led some players to speculate about a potential 4K remaster of "Red Dead Redemption 2," though there's currently no evidence to suggest a connection. A more plausible theory is that Rockstar, in creating the in-game "GTA 6" commercial, simply repurposed and modified existing natural environments from its previous title. This approach would be more convenient than utilizing the "GTA 6" Leonida map, which is likely still undergoing development and subject to change.
