Gundam's official fashion brand, STRICT-G, and its sub-brand, STRICT-G JAPAN, known for blending traditional Japanese culture and art into its collections, have consistently offered consumers fresh choices by infusing Japanese aesthetics into their apparel.
They recently announced a brand-new series, "Gunpla Box Art," which combines classic Gunpla box art illustrations with ink wash painting-like brushstrokes, resulting in newly drawn Japanese-style illustrated T-shirts. Priced at 5,500 JPY, they will be available at STRICT-G's Tokyo Skytree Town Store, NEOPASA Shizuoka Store, and Taga SA Store.
The new "Gunpla Box Art" series blends classic Gunpla box art with ink wash brushstrokes, presenting a unique Japanese aesthetic through dynamic imagery. The first wave features six designs centered around mobile suits piloted by Amuro Ray and Char Aznable.
What's special this time is the packaging, which is designed in the style of a record sleeve. Not only are these T-shirts perfect for everyday wear, but they also boast significant collector's value, making this a series that combines daily wearability with the joy of collecting.
