Japanese brand MAYLA, known for its popular collaborations with franchises like ">Cardcaptor Sakura, ">Kamen Rider W, and ">JoJo's Bizarre Adventure, consistently earns rave reviews from consumers for its apparel, footwear, and accessories.
They've just announced a new collaboration with the anime "TRIGUN STARGAZE", dropping a pair of limited-edition boots inspired by the series' protagonist, Vash the Stampede. Priced at 34,100 JPY, pre-orders kick off on their official website starting August 31.
The "Trigun" manga, created by Yasuhiro Nightow, began serialization in "Monthly Shonen Captain" in 1995. After the magazine's discontinuation, it went on hiatus before relaunching in 1997 as "Trigun Maximum" in "Young King OURs" magazine.
The series has also seen previous TV anime adaptations, with the new anime "TRIGUN STAMPEDE" premiering in 2023, and its concluding chapter, "TRIGUN STARGAZE," airing this past January.
These boots sport a deep crimson main color, reminiscent of Vash's iconic red coat. The shaft features natural pleats, while the collar draws inspiration from a stand-up jacket, incorporating a folded design to evoke the coat's flowing movement. Plus, the "PROJECT SEEDS" emblem on the shoe body and the brown straps, echoing Vash's bag and holster, are seriously eye-catching.
A long ribbon, a signature MAYLA design element, is attached to the back of the boots, designed to flutter with every step. The heel is accented with a striking blue, reminiscent of Vash's prosthetic arm. This bold contrast between deep crimson and blue creates a super cool, Vash-inspired look.
The insoles feature different designs for the left and right feet, each incorporating Vash's iconic elements: his glasses, his gun, and the geranium flowers beloved by Rem, his mentor and childhood friend.
