Get ready, Jujutsu Kaisen fans! The manga by Gege Akutami, which ran in Weekly Shonen Jump from March 2018 to September 2024, is getting a grand send-off with the "Gege Akutami Jujutsu Kaisen Finale Exhibition." This ultimate event is set to take over the Shinjuku Sumitomo Building Triangle Square from December 25, 2026, to January 25, 2027.
This special exhibition is making its way back to Shinjuku, the very stage of the series' ultimate showdown. It will also feature a brand-new key visual starring Yuta Okkotsu and Rika, freshly drawn by original author Gege Akutami himself.
While "Gege Akutami Jujutsu Kaisen Exhibitions" have been touring Japan for the past few years, this "Finale" event redefines its core theme to fully present the entire creative journey of the beloved series to all fans.
The "Gege Akutami Jujutsu Kaisen Finale Exhibition" promises to fully unveil the creative process behind the manga through cutting-edge digital technology, complete with personal explanations from the author. This is your chance to dive deep and understand how the world of Jujutsu Kaisen was brought to life, step by step.
As the final stop, the Shinjuku venue will also be the first to reveal never-before-seen, "deeper" content related to the series' ultimate arc, which was not shown in previous touring exhibitions. How were the stories, characters, and individual illustrations conceived, evolved, and ultimately woven into a complete world? This exhibition will offer fans an unprecedented peek into the deepest corners of the author's mind.
Entry to the exhibition will be by designated date and time. Special tickets bundled with exclusive merchandise will also be available. Each ticket grants one person admission and can be redeemed for a pre-order item: a "Series Finale [Chapter 271] Acrylic Diorama Stand."
Choosing Shinjuku, the setting for the story's climactic battle, for this finale exhibition adds even more significance, marking a powerful return to the story's conclusion. While detailed exhibition content and reservation times are yet to be announced, the dates are locked in: December 25, 2026, to January 25, 2027.
