"Dragon Ball," which celebrates its 40th serialization anniversary this year, revealed at a major commemorative event in January that a brand-new anime, "Dragon Ball Super: Beerus Arc," reimagined from the TV anime "Dragon Ball Super," is set to premiere this autumn.
Today, officials officially announced that this new version of "Dragon Ball Super: Beerus Arc" is confirmed to start airing on October 11th. They also dropped a fresh key visual and a promotional video.

"Dragon Ball Super: Beerus Arc" is a reimagined version based on the "Dragon Ball Super" anime that aired from 2015 to 2018. It's being produced as an "Enhanced Version," packed with tons of new footage, redrawn original scenes, and a re-arranged storyline. This new take will revamp the visuals, sound, and narrative structure with the latest animation techniques, not only boosting the immersion of battle sequences but also meticulously recreating the original content for a fresh "Dragon Ball Super" experience.
The latest promo video kicks off with a Kamehameha, then interweaves shots of Goku and Beerus, the God of Destruction, immediately setting the stage for Earth facing an unprecedented crisis. Besides Frieza, who once battled Goku to the death, new powerful foes and characters holding key story elements are also making their appearances.

Here's the "Dragon Ball Super: Beerus Arc" promotional video:
In the newly released key visual, Beerus sports an oppressive smirk, looking as if he's about to grasp Earth in his hand. Goku, on the other hand, confronts this overwhelming presence with a sharp gaze, creating a stark contrast. The visual not only features Frieza's appearance but also hints at new threats targeting Earth.

While "Dragon Ball Super: Beerus Arc" is essentially a remake of a past anime, it's one of the few "Dragon Ball" titles to feature a character other than Goku in its main title, which speaks volumes about Beerus's popularity. The official word is that this "Enhanced Version" will boast even more new footage and re-arranged scenes. For everyone hyped for this, make sure to tune in when it premieres in October!
