The Hollywood Reporter exclusively revealed Monday morning that Marvel’s Disney+ series "Daredevil: Born Again" will end with its third season and will not return for a fourth. Season 3 is currently in post-production and is expected to premiere in 2027, meaning fans will soon have to bid farewell to the street-level hero. Coincidentally, this is not the first time "Daredevil" has ended after three seasons: the original Netflix series also wrapped its run as a trilogy.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the decision to end the series came two months after Season 3 wrapped production. Showrunner Dario Scardapane’s contract also expired before post-production was completed, and Marvel opted not to renew it, meaning he did not remain involved through the entire process. Sources say post-production is already nearing completion, however.
While "Daredevil: Born Again" is approaching its end, Marvel is still actively developing more series. The studio reportedly has three to five live-action projects in the works, including a recently greenlit spy thriller operating under the working title "Zodiac." The Hollywood Reporter noted that it remains unclear which character would lead the project. As always, development does not guarantee that a series will move forward, since these projects are still in the conceptual stage and have not necessarily received a formal production order.
