New promotional artwork for Marvel Studios’ “Avengers: Doomsday” has surfaced, offering the clearest look yet at the Doombots while bringing together the Avengers, X-Men and Fantastic Four. The images tease what could become the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s biggest multiversal crossover to date.

Promotional materials shared by HEXFacility.com show the movie’s Doombots sporting green armor and glowing red eyes. The design differs from their classic comic-book appearance, in which the robots often impersonate Doctor Doom—Victor von Doom himself—and even operate as his stand-ins. That suggests the film may present them more clearly as a mechanical army and a major part of Doom’s arsenal against the assembled heroes.
Another batch of artwork spotlights the sprawling hero lineup, including Steve Rogers, the current Captain America, the New Avengers, Shang-Chi, the Fantastic Four and several characters from the “X-Men” movies. While the comic-style images may not reflect the characters’ final on-screen designs, they further underscore the scale of the Avengers, X-Men and Fantastic Four officially sharing the MCU spotlight for the first time.

Director Anthony Russo recently revealed that the current cut of “Avengers: Doomsday” runs approximately two and a half hours, describing it as a focused, propulsive narrative.
Russo explained that the story is built around a central organizing principle, with every element revolving around it. He said the creative challenge for him and Joe Russo was identifying that core and determining how all the film’s moving pieces would ultimately collide. He also teased that the movie—and its ending—would be highly unexpected, though he stopped short of revealing further details.
Directed by the Russo brothers, “Avengers: Doomsday” brings Robert Downey Jr. back to the MCU as Doctor Doom. The ensemble cast also includes Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth, Anthony Mackie, Florence Pugh, Pedro Pascal, Patrick Stewart and Ian McKellen. The film is scheduled to open in theaters on December 18, 2026.
