Released in October, Ichiban Kuji’s “Mobile Suit Gundam UNIVERSAL CENTURY SAGA 2” features an E Prize lineup of “expression rubber charms” based on some of the Universal Century’s most memorable character faces. The designs had fans talking from the moment they were revealed.
Recently, Shiro Tsunashima, the manga artist best known for the Jinki series, shared the Mobile Suit Gundam 0083: Stardust Memory charm of Kou Uraki that he pulled. He also demonstrated one particularly inspired use for it: hanging it inside his car, instantly grabbing the attention of fellow fans online.

The E Prize “expression rubber charms” from Ichiban Kuji’s “Mobile Suit Gundam UNIVERSAL CENTURY SAGA 2” come in eight designs, each capturing an unforgettable facial expression from a Universal Century character.
Fans have been especially impressed by the official picks for Amuro Ray, Paptimus Scirocco, and Kou Uraki. Each charm also stands around nine centimeters tall, making them surprisingly substantial.

Tsunashima showed off the Kou Uraki charm he pulled, featuring the ferocious expression that fans have long used as a reaction image. According to Tsunashima, hanging this glaring Kou Uraki by his car window can discourage drivers from trying to squeeze in or cut past him. Apparently, it works remarkably well.

At nine centimeters tall, the charm is hard to miss when displayed beside a car window. Anyone who happens to glance over might get a genuine jump scare from that furious expression. Then again, considering everything Kou Uraki went through, longtime fans would probably agree that he ranks among the most unfortunate protagonists in the Universal Century.

Fans also joked that they could practically hear the image, with Kou Uraki’s scream echoing in their heads.

Ichiban Kuji’s “Mobile Suit Gundam UNIVERSAL CENTURY SAGA 2” is now available. The entire prize lineup has plenty to offer, but the meme-ready E Prize charms have clearly stolen the spotlight. Anyone hoping to snag one can try their luck with the lottery or hunt one down through other channels.
