Beyond global trading card game giants like Yu-Gi-Oh! and Pokémon, more and more franchises have been dealing themselves into the market lately. Godzilla, Ultraman, and even hololive have all launched card games of their own.
Back in November 2025, ANYCOLOR's VTuber agency NIJISANJI announced that it was teaming up with TAKARA TOMY on a card game starring its virtual talent roster. On October 8, the collaboration officially unveiled its brand-new trading card game, "NIJISANJI 7 Colors Card Game," which is set to launch on December 26, 2026.

"NIJISANJI 7 Colors Card Game" is a new TCG jointly developed by ANYCOLOR's VTuber group NIJISANJI and TAKARA TOMY, the company behind titles including Duel Masters. Nicknamed NijiNana, the game features entirely new artwork across its cards.
Official gameplay details have yet to be fully revealed, but more updates are on the way, along with events where fans can try the game for themselves.
Designed to be approachable even for first-time TCG players, the game is built around one simple rule: collect all seven colors and complete a rainbow. The first wave will include four preconstructed starter decks priced at 1,650 yen each, themed around Tsukino Mito, Kuzuha, Sasaki Saku, and Kagami Hayato.
Each deck comes with its own distinctive abilities, opening the door to different battle strategies. Alongside the featured Liver, each deck will also include cards depicting other Livers connected to them.

Launching alongside the starter decks is the "COLORS IGNITION: Rainbow's Opening" booster pack. Each 440-yen pack contains four cards, while a 12-pack box will cost 5,280 yen.
The booster packs will randomly include Liver cards not found in the starter decks, along with cards in a range of rarities. Players can collect their favorite Livers and build a deck all their own.

To keep those prized cards protected, the Sleeve Vol. 1 accessory line will arrive on the same day. The four-design lineup includes Card Back (Main Visual), Card Back (Color), Tsukino Mito, and Kenmochi Toya. Each 1,210-yen pack contains 64 sleeves.

NIJISANJI fans have plenty to look forward to when the new card game hits shelves in late December. If your favorite Liver is in the lineup, it may be time to start planning that deck.
