Illustrator Nagano’s Chiikawa became a sensation in no time, with its uniquely charming anime adaptation winning even more fans. A theatrical film released this year has pushed the franchise even further into the mainstream.

Japanese streaming platform ABEMA will hold the CHIIKAWA CHRISTMAS MARKET at Toyosuna Park in Chiba City, Chiba Prefecture, from November 24 to December 25, 2026. The venue will feature plenty of custom-made photo spots, hands-on attractions, and festive food, giving fans a very Chiikawa way to celebrate the winter holidays in Chiba.

This immersive event brings the world of Chiikawa to life inside a Christmas market. A wide variety of photo spots will also be set up throughout the grounds.

The event will serve 35 exclusive original food items, including Melt-in-Your-Mouth Cream Hot Cocoa, Subjugation Churros, Hachiware’s Christmas Wreath Doughnut, and Usagi’s Pistachio Mont Blanc.

Christmas-themed original merchandise will also be available. Interactive activities include the Yoroi-san Market, where visitors can mix and match their favorite parts to create a custom keychain charm, along with games such as Candy Ring Toss and the Cookie Weighing Challenge.

The CHIIKAWA CHRISTMAS MARKET will be open from 11:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., with the final admission window scheduled for 6:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Tickets will be sold for specific dates and time slots.
