The chart was published on October 8 and covers the tracking period from September 25 through October 1. This marks Kroi's first-ever No. 1 on the ranking. Released on streaming platforms on September 24, "SPIN" quickly caught the attention of listeners overseas. The song generated more than three million streams during the tracking period, up 568% from the previous week.

Kroi is a five-member band known for blending funk, soul, hip-hop and a wide range of other musical styles. A physical CD release is scheduled for October 28, 2026, featuring anime artwork on the cover.

Kroi also shared the band's excitement over being selected to perform the opening theme, along with some insight into the creative process.

"When we received the offer, we were so excited we nearly jumped for joy! From there, we spent a great deal of time experimenting and exploring how we could capture the epic world of JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Steel Ball Run and its transcontinental horse race across North America through music."

"We built the track around Western-inspired sounds reminiscent of Italian composer Ennio Morricone and The Ventures, then blended in elements of funk, soul, hip-hop and other musical styles. We hope everyone enjoys Kroi's 'SPIN' alongside the anime!"
