"One-Punch Man" Season 3 Part 2 Premieres in January 2027, JAM Project Returns for Opening Theme

Created by ONE, the hit manga One-Punch Man continues to run with artwork by Yusuke Murata. After a six-year wait, the anime’s third season finally premiered last October.

On October 11, the official team announced that Part 2 of One-Punch Man Season 3 will premiere in January 2027. The first trailer and a new key visual were also unveiled, while JAM Project was confirmed to return for the opening theme.

Part 2 will finally continue the showdown between the Hero Association and the Monster Association, with the battle set to reach its boiling point.

The key visual features Psykos, who will make her Season 3 debut in Part 2, alongside Terrible Tornado and Genos, hinting at the fierce battles ahead. Garou, who is expected to remain a major force in the story, dominates the center of the image.

In a hilarious contrast to all that high-stakes action, Saitama and Flashy Flash can be seen racing through the sprawling underground Monster Association headquarters. How will the clash between supreme power and ultimate fear ultimately play out? The wait for answers is officially on.

The promotional video shows the S-Class heroes being ambushed by Monster Association executives and pushed into desperate situations, alongside standout shots of Terrible Tornado, Psykos, and an awakened Garou. The misunderstanding-fueled exchange between Flashy Flash and Saitama is another highlight.

JAM Project will also return to perform the opening theme for Season 3 Part 2. The new track is titled "Never Done -SUPREME POWER VS ULTIMATE FEAR-." The group shared a statement about the song, which will bring even more intensity to Part 2’s heated battles.

The title "Never Done" carries two meanings. The first is an unprecedented, astonishingly fierce showdown. The second is the anticipation of an unknown realm of strength—what could possibly be waiting on the other side of this battle? Through this song, we hope to capture Saitama’s calm composure and Garou’s blazing, madness-fueled fighting spirit in this clash of supreme power versus ultimate fear!

Although One-Punch Man Season 3 drew considerable criticism from fans over its animation production, J.C.STAFF remains in charge of the series, with Shinpei Nagai continuing as director. When the third season premiered, Nagai deactivated his X account after being targeted by online harassment. All eyes will now be on whether Part 2 can deliver the comeback fans are hoping for.
