First unveiled in 2022, Tekken 8 has continued to receive updates since launch, while its esports tournaments remain major draws around the world—a testament to the fighting franchise’s enduring appeal.
It was announced in May that Yujiro Hanma from the Baki Hanma series would join the roster as part of a special crossover celebrating the manga franchise’s 35th anniversary. On October 11, a new teaser debuted for Yujiro, the fourth DLC fighter in Season 3. His full gameplay reveal is scheduled for January 17, 2027, ahead of his playable debut in early 2027.

Yujiro is expected to arrive in early 2027 as Season 3’s fourth DLC fighter. Players who purchase the Season 3 Pass will be able to use him once he becomes available.
The other Season 3 fighters announced so far are Kunimitsu, Bob, and Roger Jr., making Yujiro the season’s fourth addition.

Season 3’s third DLC fighter, Roger Jr., has also received his full reveal and will enter early access on November 12.

The new footage played at the end of Roger Jr.’s gameplay trailer, offering the first look at Yujiro Hanma’s 3D in-game model.
Yujiro makes his entrance in the wide-legged stance seen during the manga’s Most Evil Death Row Convicts arc, then calmly declares, “The likes of you couldn’t beat me in a hundred years.”

The footage immediately sparked plenty of discussion online, with fans praising the model’s remarkable accuracy. Comments included, “That character model is absolutely perfect!” and “It looks like they pulled him straight out of the manga and dropped him into the game!”

Exactly how Yujiro will play in Tekken 8—and just how outrageous his moveset might be—remains under wraps. For now, fans will have to wait a little longer before seeing the Ogre throw his first punch.
