Illustrator neco's Heavily Armed High School Girls began as an illustration series in 2014 before expanding into a range of models and figures, building a sizable fanbase in Japan and overseas.
Following the announcement in June that the project would be adapted into a TV anime, a mobile game titled JJK: Heavily Armed High School Girls — Wordless Record was announced on October 14. Heavily Armed High School Girls is an illustration series created by artist neco (@neco_person) in 2014. The project fuses high school uniforms with futuristic weaponry, bringing two wildly contrasting aesthetics together through neco's distinctive linework, mechanical designs, and muted color palette.
The series later expanded into multiple models and figures, attracting a large following in Japan and overseas. Its signature look pairs girls with a fragile, almost ethereal quality with sharp, heavily mechanical armaments, creating a world unlike any other.
JJK: Heavily Armed High School Girls — Wordless Record is an idle RPG that puts players in the role of a cat watching over the girls. Alongside their grueling battles, players will also get a glimpse of their gentler everyday lives. The game will feature an extensive voice cast and ASMR functionality.
The main voice cast has also been revealed:
- Touka: Rie Takahashi
- Kanade: Sayumi Suzushiro
- Honami: Yoshino Aoyama
