On October 15, FANZA GAMES officially announced Yakin Byoutou Online -New Operation-, a new free-to-play card game based on the classic adult title Night Shift Nurses. The infamous franchise is back for the Reiwa era as a card-battling RPG, with heroines from throughout the series confirmed to return. Pre-registration is now open.
Night Shift Nurses is an adult game series originally launched by Mink in 1999. Its story centers on a doctor subjecting nurses at a hospital to sadistic sexual abuse. With its graphic and grotesque content, it remains one of the adult game industry's most notorious nurse-themed franchises, while many of its lines have taken on lives of their own as anime fandom memes.
The original was followed by Night Shift Nurses 2, Night Shift Nurses: Experiment, Shin Yakin Byoutou, and Yakin Byoutou Zero, along with several OVA adaptations.
Players take the role of a junior doctor who once admired Ryuji Hirasaka, the protagonist of Night Shift Nurses, before beginning work at St. Juliana Hospital.
Players can obtain cards through the gacha system, build their own decks, and explore the hospital. Encountering a heroine triggers a card battle, and winning unlocks that character's exclusive story.
Alongside key visual stars Yuu Yagami, Ren Nanase, Ako Fujisawa, and Koko Amamiya, Narumi Jinguji, Sayuki Tezuka, and Hiyori Kisaragi have also been confirmed. That means heroines spanning four entries in the series will be included.
