Japanese anime merchandise retailer JUMP SHOP has released the "Prison Realm: Gate Close Trinket Box" to celebrate the fifth anniversary of the "Jujutsu Kaisen" anime. The special-grade cursed object used to seal Satoru Gojo has been transformed into a functional 3D storage box. Along with recreating the Prison Realm’s cube-shaped closed form, the interior is packed with sculpted skulls. It also comes with a display base modeled after the subway platform where the Prison Realm became lodged. Priced at 8,800 yen including tax, the item was released on September 30, 2026.
During the Shibuya Incident Arc in "Jujutsu Kaisen," Kenjaku successfully uses the special-grade cursed object known as the Prison Realm to seal Satoru Gojo, temporarily removing the world’s strongest jujutsu sorcerer from the battle. The Prison Realm went on to become one of the arc’s most memorable items. Bandai previously released the "Prison Realm Everyday Item Storage Case," but JUMP SHOP’s new version turns its closed state into a fully sculpted storage box complete with details inspired by its eerie interior.
The exterior recreates the Prison Realm’s rough surface and eye patterns. Open the lid, and you’ll find rows of unsettling skulls modeled after the space inside the cursed object, with enough room left in the center to store small belongings. The included dedicated display base recreates the moment when the Prison Realm became embedded in the subway platform after sealing Satoru Gojo. Place the box on the base, and you can instantly recreate the scene from the anime. No jujutsu sorcerers will actually be sealed inside, but it could be the perfect place to lock away any personal items you don’t want others touching.
