Manhattan Portage x "Ultraman" Bags and Mamoru Uchiyama Art Tees Celebrate the Hero's 60th Anniversary!

Ultraman remains one of Japan’s definitive tokusatsu heroes, with countless entries in the franchise still enjoying massive popularity today. Alongside a steady stream of new productions, the series is now celebrating its 60th anniversary with a growing lineup of special events and releases.

To mark 60 years of Ultraman, the official anniversary collection includes T-shirts featuring original artwork by manga artist Mamoru Uchiyama, plus collaborative bags created with popular label Manhattan Portage. The project was launched by Shogakukan’s business and trends publication DIME, with preorders now open through the Shogakukan Department Store.

The collaboration grew out of the Ultraman feature in DIME’s December 2026 issue. Built around the franchise’s 60th-anniversary message, with U, the collection brings Ultraman into everyday life with merchandise designed for fans of all ages.

Manhattan Portage was tapped to create two exclusive anniversary bags, each featuring a design made especially for Ultraman’s big six-zero.
