Decadent Chocolate Arrives! GODIVA ✕ Japan's Komeda's Coffee Launch Limited-Time "Chocolate Baumkuchen Parfait"

Nagoya's long-established coffee chain, **Komeda's Coffee** (コメダ 珈琲店), recently announced its second collaboration with the Belgian Royal Warrant chocolate brand **GODIVA**. Following last year's successful menu items, this year they are launching the "**Chocolate Baumkuchen Parfait**," available in limited quantities starting February 5, 2021.

Last year, Komeda's Coffee and GODIVA introduced several collaborative menu items, including chocolate parfaits and chocolate milk. The most popular was the "Chocolate Soft Serve Danish Pastry" (Shironoir) shown below, which combined Komeda's popular soft serve Danish pastry with GODIVA chocolate for an exquisite pairing.

This year's "**Chocolate Baumkuchen Parfait**" features a chocolate Baumkuchen drizzled with rich GODIVA chocolate sauce, sprinkled with chocolate chips and almond flakes, and topped with vanilla soft serve. The Baumkuchen is said to have a **hidden sweet and sour flavor** within. Every bite offers a rich chocolate aroma. This item is available in limited quantities while supplies last! Prices may vary slightly by store, ranging from approximately 650 to 670 JPY.

It is currently unclear if Komeda's branches in Taiwan will offer this item. However, such a collaborative menu item is certainly appealing. Last year's collaboration was well-received by Japanese customers, and this year's "Chocolate Baumkuchen Parfait," supervised by GODIVA's executive chef, is also expected to draw many Japanese patrons.
