The latest trailer for 'Eternals' is out, and director Chloé Zhao's masterful natural landscape cinematography is truly impressive! We also saw more shots of the Eternals members, as well as their spaceship (and the exquisite special effects when using their powers XD). Now, let's take a look at the comic book versions of the Eternals members who will appear in the movie!

All Eternals possess superhuman physique, superhuman stamina, extremely extended lifespans, telepathic abilities, the ability to project cosmic energy from their hands and eyes, and flight, all enhanced by cosmic energy to varying degrees. On top of these, they each have their own specializations. The Eternals are scattered across various parts of the solar system, including Earth and Titan; the Eternals living on Earth are further divided into several factions, primarily Olympia and Polaria, and these two groups despise each other, much like the United States and Russia.
Ikaris
Originally an Eternal from Polaria, he was sent to Olympia as part of a peace treaty. He once served as the Prime Eternal of Olympia. He can fly and teleport, is the fastest flyer among the Eternals, and can unleash powerful cosmic rays. He is the father of Icarus, who in myth flew too close to the sun and fell. He adopted his son's name to honor him.

Sersi
She is actually Circe, the sorceress from Greek mythology, who encountered Odysseus on his journey and turned his crew into pigs. In modern times, she once joined the Avengers and is the most powerful matter transmuter among the Eternals, capable of altering matter composition almost at will. She once had a relationship with Makkari, a fellow Eternal. In the movie, she appears to be a couple with Ikaris.

Thena
One of the most powerful warriors among the Eternals, capable of shaping cosmic energy into weapons. She is often confused with Athena from Greek mythology. She is the daughter of Zuras, the Prime Eternal, and once succeeded him in his position. She once had a forbidden romance with Kro, a warlord of the opposing "Deviants," and even bore his twins during the Vietnam War, later entrusting the children to a human woman for surrogacy and upbringing.

Kingo
An Eternal from Hokkaido who loves Japanese culture, always dressed like a samurai or ninja. He is also an actor who enjoys playing samurai roles in films; his immersion is so deep that even in battle, he tends not to use the superhuman powers of the Eternals, but rather samurai fighting techniques. In the movie, for some reason, he seems to have become a Bollywood actor?

Makkari
Like Thena, he hails from Greece and is an Eternal who loves speed. He participated in the Trojan War and is often confused with Hermes from Greek mythology. His obsession with speed led him to invest all his cosmic energy into it, achieving unprecedented velocity, but also causing him to lose the Eternals' inherent abilities of flight, matter transmutation, and energy projection.

Phastos
The anti-war Eternal, always silent and wielding a large hammer. Highly skilled in technology, he is the forger among the Eternals, commanding respect from everyone. He is often confused with Hephaestus from Greek mythology. He is very adept at various forms of cosmic energy projection, but overuse can lead to a temporary weakened state, increasing his sensitivity to pain.

Ajak
An Eternal from Polaria, who participated in the Trojan War and was mistaken for the Greek hero Ajax, and was worshipped as Quetzalcoatl by many in South America. She possesses excellent leadership skills. She can communicate with the Eternals' creators, the "Celestials," and currently resides in "Celestia," a location separate from the two main factions. Originally male in the comics, but female in the movie.

Sprite
An Eternal whose appearance is forever trapped at around 11-12 years old, possessing powerful mind control abilities and skilled at creating intricate illusions. She was the inspiration for Peter Pan and the Puck in 'A Midsummer Night's Dream.' She once altered the memories of almost all her kin to escape her childlike appearance, making them believe they were ordinary humans, nearly causing everyone's demise. For this, she was punished and imprisoned in "The Exclusion," the Eternals' prison. Originally male, but became female after a recent resurrection. The movie version is also female.

Gilgamesh
Also known as The Forgotten One. An Eternal from Olympia, who became the king of the city of Uruk in Sumeria around 3000 BCE (yes, the Gilgamesh himself). Due to his immense strength, which is among the strongest even for an Eternal, he was often mistaken for the Greek hero Hercules or the biblical strongman Samson. He was once exiled by Zuras for interfering too often in human affairs. In modern times, he joined the Avengers. He was once blind but developed radar-like senses as a result.

Druig
Ikaris's cousin. Also an Earth Eternal, but he belongs to Polaria, not Olympia where Ikaris and others reside. He is quite cunning and very skilled at implanting fear in others' minds, as well as creating cosmic energy flames that can harm even other Eternals. He is now the Supreme Leader of Polaria.
