Japan's largest doujin event, Comic Market (Comiket), held its C103 iteration this past weekend, December 30-31, drawing in a massive crowd of doujin creators and cosplayers.
We're here to spotlight Japanese cosplayer Sarie ( @hummel827 ), who absolutely stole the show at C103. She chose to embody "Shizuku Kuroe," the very first character Marin Kitagawa asked Wakana Gojo to create a costume for in the hit anime "My Dress-Up Darling," captivating everyone with her stunning, self-made elaborate outfit.
"Shizuku-tan," or Shizuku Kuroe, is the character Marin Kitagawa first commissioned Wakana Gojo to cosplay. In the series, Shizuku is a character from the adult game "Saint ♡ Gooey Girls' Academy ~The Ojou-sama's Humiliation Club Harem Miracle Life 2~," featuring an S&M dynamic. Marin's explanation of the character's origins initially shocked Wakana, but he still meticulously crafted the costume to fulfill her dream.
But unlike Marin, Sarie doesn't have a Wakana Gojo with masterful tailoring skills at her beck and call. Instead, she *is* her own Wakana, crafting every single costume from scratch, entirely by hand. With a penchant for opulent styles, each of her creations is as exquisitely detailed as a royal gown, and her incredible craftsmanship has earned her widespread praise on X.
Attending C103 alongside her friend Sora (@3kichi), who cosplayed Anya, Sarie also drew plenty of attention from the cameras.
And yes, her physique was absolutely on point, too!
