As reported in February, "Shang-Chi" star Simu Liu is making his return to the small screen, leading the cast of the previously untitled spy sci-fi thriller series "The Copenhagen Test," executive produced by horror maestro James Wan, which is set to stream on Peacock.
The series recently announced additional cast members. According to Variety, Melissa Barrera, who exited "Scream 7" due to political reasons, will join the now-titled thriller series.
Further bolstering the ensemble, Sinclair Daniel from "Insidious: The Red Door," Brian d'Arcy James of "13 Reasons Why," Mark O'Brien known for "City on a Hill," and Kathleen Chalfant from "The Affair" have also been announced as cast members.
Reports indicate their individual character names will be Michelle, Parker, John Moira, Cobb, and St. George, though their specific roles in the storyline remain undisclosed.
Liu will portray Alexander Hale, an intelligence analyst who discovers his brain has been hacked, leaving everything he sees and hears vulnerable to the perpetrators. Caught between his mysterious intelligence organization and the hackers, he must uncover the mastermind behind the breach and prove his loyalty.
