Aoshima Bunka Kyozai Co., Ltd.'s assembly model brand ACKS recently announced the upcoming release of its latest product from the movie "Godzilla-1.0": the "Godzilla (2023) Non-Articulated Assembly Model," with a release date yet to be determined. The developing prototype is scheduled to be exhibited at the "62nd All Japan Model & Hobby Show" on October 12, 2024.
The Godzilla (2023), which is being commercialized, was originally an ancient creature, approximately 15 meters tall and resembling a dinosaur, inhabiting the deep seas around Odo Island, referred to by local residents as "Gojira." However, in 1946, after World War II, nuclear tests conducted by the U.S. military near Bikini Atoll caused Gojira to mutate and grow into a 50-meter-tall Godzilla. Its exaggerated regenerative abilities allowed it to recover instantly even after being bombarded by naval vessels, and it could unleash a nuclear-level, high-power heat ray from its mouth.
Aoshima's "Godzilla (2023) Non-Articulated Assembly Model" has not yet revealed detailed product information, but it has been mentioned that the model will capture Godzilla's highly biological form through precisely molded parts and reproduce a cool pose with its non-articulated specifications.
