S.H.Figuarts, the action figure brand released by TAMASHII NATIONS, the collectors' toy division of Japan's BANDAI SPIRITS Co., Ltd., has finally announced today (16th) the commercialization of an "Aki Hayakawa" action figure, a product based on the popular anime and manga "Chainsaw Man," after a long wait since "Makima"!
Aki Hayakawa is a Devil Hunter from Public Safety Devil Extermination Special Division 4 in Tokyo, and Denji's senior with three more years of experience. He became a Devil Hunter under Makima after his family was slaughtered by the Gun Devil when he was a child. To achieve his goal of hunting down the Gun Devil, he made contracts with four devils, stopping at nothing. His tough-on-the-outside, soft-on-the-inside big brother image towards the two idiots, Power and Denji, combined with his tragic experiences, has earned him a spot in the top three of character popularity polls multiple times! The upcoming S.H.Figuarts Aki Hayakawa, based on the currently released images, appears to feature his Devil Hunter look in a suit. It includes his iconic topknot hairstyle and a second hairstyle with his hair down. It will also include the long nail sword he uses in the series and the "Kon" hand gesture used when employing the Fox Devil's ability.
