Netflix's "The Witcher": Kim Bodnia Reveals Why He Won't Return as Vesemir for Season 4

While Henry Cavill's departure from Netflix's "The Witcher" and Liam Hemsworth's subsequent casting as the new Geralt has dominated headlines, another key actor, Kim Bodnia, who portrays Geralt's friend and mentor Vesemir, has also exited the series for its upcoming fourth season. Bodnia's reason for not returning, however, is reportedly more straightforward than Cavill's.

Bodnia's spokesperson recently confirmed to RadioTimes that the Danish actor's departure from "The Witcher" Season 4 was due to a scheduling conflict. At the time, Bodnia was involved in filming the Apple TV+ sports action film "F1," which clashed with "The Witcher's" production schedule, necessitating his withdrawal from the cast.

As of now, there has been no official announcement regarding who will take over the role of Vesemir and star alongside Liam Hemsworth's Geralt. However, with production for "The Witcher" Season 4 currently underway, an announcement for the new Vesemir actor is expected soon.
