Following Marvel Studios' recent reveal of its MCU film slate through 2028, the fourth installment of the Tom Holland-led "Spider-Man" series has officially locked in its release date. The highly anticipated sequel is scheduled to return to the big screen on July 24, 2026, just two months after "Avengers: Doomsday" hits theaters. Notably, this timing almost perfectly aligns with predictions from Hollywood insider Daniel Richtman.

In fact, Tom Holland had previously revealed during an appearance on "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon" that "Spider-Man 4" was expected to begin filming in mid-2025. More recently, on "The Rich Roll Podcast," he mentioned that the team has already reviewed a script draft. While he noted the story still requires some adjustments, he gave it a positive overall assessment.
The MCU's "Spider-Man 4" will be directed by Destin Daniel Cretton, known for his work on "Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings." Given that the film's release is slated between "Avengers: Doomsday" and "Avengers: Secret Wars," insider Daniel Richtman has speculated that this could be another major "multiverse" movie.
