After Tony Leung: Hideo Kojima Shares Surprise Virtual Reunion with Keanu Reeves – Is a Game Cameo Next?

Just yesterday, Hideo Kojima surprised fans across his social media platforms, including X (formerly Twitter) and Instagram, by sharing a photo of himself alongside veteran Hong Kong superstar Tony Leung and Berlin Film Festival Golden Bear-winning director Ildikó Enyedi. Today, the acclaimed game creator once again posted a "virtual reunion" photo, this time with "Baba Yaga" himself, Keanu Reeves.

While Kojima's X post didn't specify the reason for the video call with Reeves, this remote "appearance" quickly captured widespread attention online. Fans immediately began speculating whether Keanu Reeves, who previously starred in CD Projekt Red's sci-fi game "Cyberpunk 2077," might make a cameo in the "Death Stranding" sequel, "Death Stranding 2 On The Beach," or potentially in Kojima's other upcoming title, "OD."

Of course, this isn't the first time Kojima and Reeves have shared a moment. Back in 2019, Reeves personally visited Kojima Productions. During that visit, he not only posed for a photo with Kojima but also signed the studio's guest board. That surprise meeting similarly generated immense excitement among fans.

As for whether the numerous stars and directors pictured with Hideo Kojima will make cameo appearances in "Death Stranding 2 On The Beach," set for release in 2025, that remains to be confirmed. Nevertheless, these high-profile cross-industry encounters over the past few years have certainly ignited a fervent discussion across the internet.
