Following the November 2023 announcement that "Enola Holmes," starring "Stranger Things" breakout Millie Bobby Brown, was confirmed for a third installment on Netflix, new reports today have revealed the film's director.

Sources indicate that Philip Barantini, the British director behind "Boiling Point," will take the helm for "Enola Holmes 3," succeeding Harry Bradbeer, who directed the first two installments.

While contracts are reportedly not yet finalized, Millie Bobby Brown is widely expected to reprise her starring role as Enola Holmes. Production on the third film is anticipated to begin after she concludes filming for the final season of "Stranger Things."
There's no definitive word yet on whether Henry Cavill will return as Enola's famous brother, Sherlock Holmes. However, given Cavill's increasingly busy schedule in recent years, securing his involvement could prove challenging.
