Hey fellow Gunpla and model kit enthusiasts, ever found yourself buried under a mountain of unbuilt kits? We've all been there – sometimes life just gets in the way, and your build rate can't keep up with your buy rate. That sight of your home overflowing with model boxes? Yeah, we feel that.
Today, we're shining a spotlight on Japanese X (formerly Twitter) user Kunothisu (@kunothisu), a Gunpla fanatic whose passion has literally transformed their home into a jaw-dropping, box-filled wonderland. The sheer presence of those massive mobile suit kits? Absolutely mind-blowing!

Kunothisu isn't just about building; they're also a master at capturing dramatic, manga-style photos of their creations, adding an extra layer of fun to their work, which they frequently share on social media.

They admit to building Gunpla almost every single day, but even that dedication can't keep pace with their buying habits. They estimate their current stash to be in the hundreds of boxes, practically a model shop in itself! Kunothisu has a special soft spot for colossal kits, naming the "Neo Zeong" and "Gundam GP03D Dendrobium" as absolute favorites – so much so they've bought multiple copies to build. Their living space? Completely taken over by Gunpla!

But wait, there's more! Kunothisu also loves collecting multiples. They explain that lining up several of the same mobile suit creates an entirely different, powerful visual for photos. This often leads to them buying a ton of mass-produced units. While not difficult to assemble, it definitely adds to the ever-growing pile, lol.

Beyond this colossal Gunpla hoard, Kunothisu's diligent, almost daily building habit has earned widespread praise from netizens. Comments poured in like: "My mind is blown!", "I'm so incredibly jealous!", and "If your life can be filled with what you love, that's not so bad, haha!"
Seeing such incredible passion, it's hard not to glance at our own backlogs and wonder when we'll ever tackle them, right? With the holiday season approaching, maybe it's time to chip away at that personal mountain of kits (?)
