Global Goal! BLUE LOCK Teams Up with Premier League Giants Liverpool FC for Epic Kodansha HQ Display

The football manga sensation, BLUE LOCK, created by Muneyuki Kaneshiro and illustrated by Yusuke Nomura, exploded in popularity during the last World Cup thanks to its anime adaptation and stellar character designs. That momentum has only continued, with BLUE LOCK THE MOVIE -EPISODE Nagi- and the second season of the anime keeping fans hyped.

Today (February 3rd), Kodansha dropped a massive surprise: a thrilling collaboration with English Premier League leaders, Liverpool FC! To celebrate, Kodansha has unveiled a brand-new collaborative visual display right at the entrance of their company headquarters. It features not only Liverpool's star players but also fan-favorite BLUE LOCK characters decked out in the iconic Liverpool kit.

Kodansha stated, "As an official global partner of Liverpool FC, this collaboration with BLUE LOCK has resulted in an 'EGOIST'-filled signboard at our 1st-floor entrance! Every time we pass by, it gets our blood pumping!" The timing is perfect, as Liverpool currently boasts Japanese star Wataru Endo, the highly popular captain of Japan's national team, in their squad.

The massive wall at the 1st-floor entrance showcases the stunning BLUE LOCK x Liverpool FC collaboration visual. The BLUE LOCK characters, sporting Liverpool FC jerseys, exude an incredible presence. The announcement immediately grabbed the attention of countless fans and football enthusiasts, with many already eager to visit and see it for themselves.

This isn't the first time these two powerhouses have teamed up. Last October, prior to the second anime season's premiere, the collaboration was first announced, leading to the release of limited-edition manga volumes 1 through 5 featuring special red jersey covers. With Liverpool currently topping the Premier League table, it looks like this partnership is scoring big!
