Japanese fashion brand AKROS (アクロス), known for its ACG (Anime, Comics, Games) apparel and bags, previously garnered praise for its apparel collaboration with the anime series "Frieren: Beyond Journey's End".
Now, they're teaming up with "KonoSuba: God's Blessing on This Wonderful World!", the light novel series by Natsume Akatsuki and illustrated by Kurone Mishima, which just wrapped its third anime season last year. AKROS is set to launch a "Premium Sparkling Wine Plush Pillow" featuring the series' very own "Goddess of Water," Aqua. Priced at 6,380 JPY, it's now available for pre-order on both AKROS and chara-ani's official websites.
In the series, Aqua is the Goddess of Water who guides young Japanese people who died prematurely to another world. Despite her stunning appearance with long blue hair and eyes, her personality is anything but divine. While her adventurer stats are incredibly high, her intelligence and luck are notoriously low, leading protagonist Kazuma to famously dub her the "useless goddess." She also has a penchant for expensive booze and a lavish lifestyle, often seen getting completely wasted throughout the story.
The "Premium Sparkling Wine Plush Pillow" is designed after the "Premium Sparkling Wine" (最高級シュワシュワ) bottle, a 100% top-tier grape sparkling wine from the Kingdom of Belzerg in the series – the very same drink Aqua often gets absolutely hammered on!
Measuring approximately 13 cm wide by 50 cm long, it's crafted from soft, comfortable short-pile fabric for an excellent tactile feel. Perfect for cuddling up with at night, using as a pillow, or even a backrest – you can totally channel your inner Aqua and pass out with it after a few too many, becoming a "useless goddess" yourself (?).
