"Hell Teacher Nube," the classic manga by Sho Makura (story) and Takeshi Okano (art), is undoubtedly a core childhood memory for many fans, beloved for its unique blend of horror and humor.
Last year, as the series hit its 31st anniversary, a new anime adaptation was announced in July, surprising fans who couldn't believe this classic was making a Reiwa-era comeback! Today (February 28), the official channels dropped a brand-new key visual, a promotional video, character designs, and the voice cast. Mark your calendars: the anime is set to premiere in July 2025.
While it was previously revealed that Ryotaro Okiayu would reprise his iconic role as the titular "Nube" (Meisuke Nueno), the voice cast and character designs for the rest of the crew have also been unveiled. Notably, Tomokazu Morikawa returns as Kyosuke Tamamo, but most other roles feature a fresh lineup of voice actors.
