A recent video uploaded by the YouTube channel "TAKちゃんねる" (TAK Channel) has sparked a massive buzz! In the clip, TAK shows how he successfully revived a faded, non-booting copy of Pokémon Ultra Moon, only to discover a treasure trove of rare event Pokémon saved within.

TAK stumbled upon the noticeably discolored cartridge in the "Nintendo DS" section of a secondhand store, snagging it for just 3,300 yen. Despite the game initially refusing to boot, he didn't give up. A quick clean of the cartridge's pins with a contact cleaner did the trick, bringing the game back to life.
Upon checking the save file, a message popped up: "You have uncollected gifts!" This immediately piqued his interest. Sure enough, the first gift he claimed was "Ash's Pikachu," distributed via movie pre-order tickets back in 2017—a rare find right off the bat!

But the surprises didn't stop there. As TAK delved into the Pokémon Boxes, he uncovered even more astonishing finds, including classic event Pokémon like "Desert City Kyogre" (from 2015 movie pre-order tickets) and "XY&Z Yveltal."

These Pokémon were originally limited-time distributions, making them highly sought-after collector's items for many players. In the end, TAK unearthed a grand total of 27 rare event Pokémon, a discovery that left him absolutely thrilled.
The video not only ignited a wave of nostalgia among viewers for their cherished games but also reminded many of the endless possibilities hidden within secondhand finds. Comments poured in, with fans exclaiming, "This is truly god-tier data!" and "Memories like treasure!" Others reflected that while the game cartridge itself might fade, the memories and data it holds will truly never diminish.
