Falcom's beloved RPG series, The Legend of Heroes: Trails, is getting a full remake of its inaugural title. The original, "The Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky FC," previously announced a complete remake, "Trails in the Sky the 1st," promising to bring its classic adventure stages to life with high-definition 3D graphics.
Today (March 11), the official announcement dropped regarding the voice cast for the "Trails in the Sky the 1st" remake, revealing that a majority of characters will have new voice actors – a move that's sparked major buzz among players.

"Trails in the Sky the 1st" also marks the 20th anniversary of the Trails series. The series' first installment, "The Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky FC," is making a grand return with a complete overhaul. The game's visuals have been fully optimized and recreated with 3D graphics, allowing players to relive the classic while experiencing a fresh, modern take.
This time, even protagonists Estelle Bright and Joshua Bright are getting new voices. Only Takehito Koyasu and Tetsu Inada will reprise their original roles. While it's been two decades since the original, many veteran players are feeling the sting of nostalgia, lamenting the loss of those familiar voices.
