McDonald's Japan has been absolutely crushing it on social media lately, showcasing some seriously wild creativity. Fresh off a collab with VOCALOID diva Hatsune Miku, where they playfully resurrected the classic "Get Down" niconico meme to promote their "Shaka Shaka Potato & Chicken Nuggets" ad, they're back with another banger.
Yesterday (March 18), McDonald's unveiled their annual music project, the "Tiro Remix 2025" MV, a collaboration with three mega-popular artists. This unique musical experience blends the iconic "Tiro Ri♪" sound – that unmistakable chime when your fries are ready – with hit songs from Ado, YOASOBI, and Hololive VTuber Hoshimachi Suisei. The MV tells a heartwarming story full of youthful energy and has already garnered massive praise from fans.

The "Tiro Remix" is McDonald's Japan's annual music initiative, which kicked off in 2023. That year, Ado's "Odo" and asmi's "PAKU" were the first tracks to get the "Tiro Ri♪" treatment, creating a fun medley.
In 2024, the project continued with a remix featuring YOASOBI's "Gunjō" and Vaundy's "Hana Uranai," further solidifying the music collaboration's popularity among fans.

This new 2025 version brings together Ado's "Yoru no Pierrot," YOASOBI's "Yoru ni Kakeru," and Hoshimachi Suisei's "Bibideba," all perfectly fused with the McDonald's "Tiro Ri♪" sound.

The MV's storyline follows a group of high school girls passionate about music, who, with a little help from the "Potato Brothers," strive to achieve their dream of forming a girl band, embodying the dreams and struggles of youth.

From teaming up with VTubers and singers to constantly churning out unexpected, brilliant ideas, McDonald's Japan is truly operating on a whole different level compared to your average fast-food chain.
