The ever-expanding universe of the hit sitcom "The Big Bang Theory" continues to grow. In recent years, it has not only produced the seven-season spinoff "Young Sheldon," but last year also launched a second spinoff, "Georgie & Mandy's First Marriage," focusing on Sheldon's brother Georgie and his partner Mandy. Now, a third spinoff is on its way, confirmed to star Sheldon's friend, Stuart.

Entertainment outlet Deadline exclusively reported today that while the Stuart-focused spinoff is still in development and not yet officially ordered, its title has been set as "Stuart Fails To Save The Universe." Kevin Sussman, who played Stuart in the original series, was previously confirmed to return. Other returning supporting cast members from the original series include Lauren Lapkus as Stuart's girlfriend Denise, Brian Posehn as Bert, and John Ross Bowie as Sheldon's university colleague Barry Kripke (pictured above).
Chuck Lorre, the executive producer for all "The Big Bang Theory"-related series, will continue as a writer and co-executive produce with "The Big Bang Theory" co-creator Bill Prady.
