The iconic PlayStation console, developed and founded by SIE (Sony Interactive Entertainment), celebrated its 30th anniversary last December. For many, its first generation debuted as a groundbreaking milestone in gaming, and the platform has continued to roll out various collaborations recently.
Today (March 21), Japanese sensation YOASOBI officially released their new single, "PLAYERS," a special creation commemorating PlayStation's 30th anniversary. They also dropped a PlayStation 30th-anniversary special commercial, featuring voice performances from Nanase Nishino, Hololive VTuber Usada Pekora, and streamer Kiyo.

This collaboration stems from the official "Project: MEMORY CARD" initiative. The project's core idea is to "save PlayStation memories into a song." It invited players to share game stories they'd love to erase from memory just to experience them again for the first time, and drew inspiration from countless #MemoryOfPlay responses to craft this emotionally charged track.

"PLAYERS" kicks off with a catchy, unforgettable opening chant and boasts a super infectious chorus that'll get your adrenaline pumping. The song delivers a powerful message: "The experiences and emotions games give us become the strength that supports our real lives," radiating positive energy to push forward!
